RECITAL

Recital is the special rite of passage for all dance students. It offers each student a professionally directed performance allowing them to present to family and friends the results of a years hard work, dedication, and progress. The dress rehearsal process helps develop retention skills and acclimates our students to a new environment.

It teaches the positive aspects of working as a team to achieve the best end result. The performance experience helps build self-esteem and self-confidence.

These attributes can be beneficial to non-dance activities such as in-school presentations and can improve social skills as well. The TPDC annual recital is held in a professional theater. Costumes and choreography enhance the overall experience and make for an exciting and memorable event. Dedication to recital commitments is the responsibility of both the students and their parents.
