Dear parents, family and friends,
Welcome to Turning Pointe Dance Center’s annual recital. This marks our 28th year in dance education. We value your trust in us and appreciate the opportunity to inspire and motivate your children. As I reflect back over this past year, I am glad to have been able to offer in-person classes for our students. I believe they looked forward to the exercise, friendships, music and camaraderie they find here at their home away from home, TPDC.
This performance is the culmination of a year of continuous hard work and commitment. Whether this is your child’s debut performance or their senior year, we commend each of our students. Through dance, children gain self-confidence and poise and learn self-discipline, all of which can be called upon in future facets of their lives. Our dancers certainly deserve your admiration.
Congratulations to our team on a stellar competition season. They competed at Groove, United States Tournament of Dance, and Turn It Up. USTD: Jude Cassion won the Choreographer's award, Ava Lieber received third runner up Miss Teen Dance, Ashley McKoy received first runner up Miss Teen Dance, and Rachel Jack received second place overall Miss Dance. Turn It Up regionals: Meghan Vaz received the Choreography award, Ava Lieber received the Teen Title Winner award, Rachel Jack received first runner up Senior Teen Title Soloist, and Ashley McKoy received Senior Teen Title Soloist Winner. The team's achievements also include overall high scores. We are extremely proud of the team's accomplishments this year.
